The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation, is a two-day cycling journey, through the lower mainland and across the border (because cancer knows no borders) into Washington State, taking place in the summer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

My family and my friends, like many of yours, have been impacted by all different types of cancer. Skin cancer, throat cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, cervical & ovarian cancer, leukemia. There are many other types of cancer that are on the list. This is how I can make a difference. This is how we all can make a difference. Help me, my team, our fellow riders and the BC Cancer Foundation make cancer history. We can do it together.

Last year, 70% of the funds raised through The Ride To Conquer Cancer went directly to researching and developing new ways to make cancer history. It is working, but we need to keep it going! Together, we can conquer cancer!

Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care made possible through the BC Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and care.

My journey is in memory of my Auntie June Swanson, grandmother Celia Swanson, and grandfather, Axel Arthur Swanson. In memory of Dorothy Knight who lost her battle in December 2012. In memory of Maple Leaf Singers Barrie Frenette, Lynn Pavey, Steve Crabtree and for Doreen West who left us in January 2014. You were all such kind and wonderful people. I ride for all of you.

Thank you in advance for your support.
